Butta Health is looking for a creative and driven Social Media & Marketing Intern to join our growing team and help tell the Butta story. You will work closely with the founding team to grow our online presence, create engaging content, and connect with the people we're building Butta for.

What you'll do

  • Create and schedule engaging content across Butta's social media channels.
  • Help grow and engage our community across Instagram, TikTok, X and LinkedIn.
  • Support marketing campaigns, launches and product announcements.
  • Track performance and share insights on what's working.
  • Help shape Butta's voice and storytelling across platforms.
  • Support community engagement and respond to comments and messages.

What we're looking for

  • Strong interest in social media, content creation and digital marketing.
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with major social platforms and content trends.
  • Creative, proactive and able to work independently.
  • Interest in health-tech and startup environments.
  • Based in Lagos and able to work hybrid from Victoria Island.

Bonus: Experience creating content (video, design or writing) and familiarity with tools like Canva, CapCut or Figma.

Frontend & Mobile Developer

Butta Health is looking for a talented Frontend & Mobile Developer to join our growing team and help us build the future of digital health. You will be responsible for building and improving the user-facing experience across the Butta platform, working closely with our product, design and backend teams to turn ideas and designs into intuitive, high-quality digital experiences.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain Butta's mobile and web applications.
  • Develop new features using React Native, React and TypeScript.
  • Translate Figma designs into polished, responsive experiences.
  • Integrate frontend applications with APIs and backend services.
  • Optimise performance and ensure a smooth user experience.
  • Test, debug and continuously improve the product.
  • Work closely with the product and design teams to bring new ideas to life.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of frontend/mobile development experience.
  • Strong React Native, React and TypeScript skills.
  • Experience with Expo and API integration.
  • Strong understanding of mobile UX and responsive design.
  • Experience building and shipping production applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Someone who is proactive, product-minded and able to work independently.

Bonus: Experience working with AI-powered products, health-tech or early-stage startups.

Backend Developer

Butta Health is looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our growing team and build the technology powering our health platform. You will be responsible for developing the backend systems, APIs and infrastructure that support the Butta product, working closely with our product, design and frontend teams to improve how people manage and understand their health.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain Butta's backend systems and APIs.
  • Develop secure, scalable and reliable backend services.
  • Design and manage databases and data architecture.
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs.
  • Support AI-powered features and integrations.
  • Implement authentication, permissions and data security.
  • Monitor, test and improve backend performance and reliability.
  • Work closely with the frontend developer and product team to build and launch new features.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of backend development experience.
  • Strong Node.js, TypeScript and PostgreSQL skills.
  • Experience building and integrating APIs.
  • Strong understanding of databases and backend architecture.
  • Experience with authentication and security.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining production applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Someone who is proactive, takes ownership and thrives in a fast-moving startup environment.

Bonus: Experience with AI/LLM integrations, health-tech, healthcare platforms or early-stage startups.
